Description

The UK Department for Transport (DfT) directed that UK airports must comply with the new passenger and baggage security screening requirements by June 1st 2024. Birmingham Airport Limited have a desire to meet the requirements of the DfT with the minimum of disruption to passengers and with a view to providing efficient security search lanes providing a safe and efficient process for both passengers and their cabin baggage.This procurement exercise has been undertaken and this notification confirms award of contract. Lot 1: Cabin Baggage XRay Scanning and Tray Return System Supply, install and maintenance of cabin baggage x ray scanning and tray return system Lot 2: Body Scanner Supply, install and maintain of body scanners Lot 1: Cabin Baggage XRay Scanning and Tray Return System Supply, install and maintenance of cabin baggage x ray scanning and tray return system Lot 2: Body Scanner Supply, install and maintain of body scanners
