The airport currently has separate contracts in place for Airfield Security Services, Hold Baggage Screening Services (HBS), Services for Passengers of Reduced Mobility (PRM) and building cleaning services. The Airport wishes to procure these services, and others, under a single contract, but will consider an alternative approach where the contract is split into two 'Lots' as detailed within this notice. The contract will be awarded for a 3-year period, with an option to extend for two periods each of 1 year. The current building cleaning services contract expires in April 2024 and there is scope for the this to be integrated into the soft services contract subject to the agreement of both parties. This requirement includes patrolling of the perimeter of the airfield, screening operatives delivering cargo activities, providing airside escorting services and the manning of staff gates at security checkpoints where individuals are moving from landside to airside. Compliance with department for transport requirements as detailed below is mandatory: — Single Consolidated Direction (SCD) 2/2019, 21 October 2019 or updated versions coming into force including MSM (More Stringent Measures): — EC300/2008 — Commission Implementing Decision EU 2015/1998 including amendments — Commission Implementing Decision EU 8005/2015 and amendments — hold baggage services. Bags are screened as part of the requirement to comply with department for transport requirements as detailed below is mandatory: — Single Consolidated Direction (SCD) 2/2019, 21 October 2019 or updated versions coming into force including MSM (More Stringent Measures): — EC300/2008 — Commission Implementing Decision EU 2015/1998 including amendments — Commission Implementing Decision EU 8005/2015 and amendments. PRM – To demonstrate competence and capability in delivering services in line with: European Regulation (EC) No 1107/2006 of 5 July 2006 concerning the rights of disabled persons and Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM) when travelling by air. Guidance and mandatory requirements detailed within CAP 1228, CAP 1411 and CAP 1629. Porter/concierge meet and greet services including: VIP customer services Porter services Concierge services Self-hosted booking platform.
