Description
The purpose of this framework agreement is to cover for the provision of annual, seasonal and ad hoc plant and equipment hire requirements and the purchase of plant and equipment (such as but not limited to Front Wheeled Loaders etc). The Framework will be split in to Lots to be determined in the Procurement Documents. Hire and purchase encompasses the following service areas “Construction”, “Building”, “Highways and Engineering”, "Traffic Management2, Winter Maintenance", "Ground Maintenance" and “Other General Maintenance” with and without operators. Suppliers are invited to tender for one or more lots or all of the lots if required. When submitting tenders, Suppliers have the option to tenderer for any Local Authority they wish to price for. The lots are to be stated within the Procurement Documents. Delivery of the plant and equipment will be at locations throughout the named Authorities, unless otherwise stated by them. This will be specified at the time of order. Further information about the plant type requirements will be set out in the Procurement Documents in due course. Lot 1: Framework for the purchase and hire of small and heavy duty plant, road/traffic management equipment and services, construction and agricultural plant & equipment, small plant, tools, portable containers & toilets, storage and skips, portable and modular buildings and winter maintenance equipment.
