Tender for Intensified Charge Coupled Device Camera upgrade to Spectroscopy System
Published
Buyer
Description
This procurement is to upgrade the current optical spectroscopy capabilities for transient absorption and photoluminescence within the Centre for Integrative Semiconductor Materials (CISM) to include the capability to measure luminescence with variable gated pulse width (2 ns to 100 µs) for time-resolved studies using an intensified charge coupled device (ICCD) sensor. The sample photoexcitation is provided by a 1030 nm PHAROS laser and ORPHEUS optical parametric amplifier (OPA); all supplied by Light Conversion.Since this is an upgrade rather than replacement of the current set up, the new equipment will need to be compatible with laser rep rates of 50 kHz and lower, as well as with our existing Andor Kymera 328i spectrograph and the control and analysis software established in the group. The maximum external funding available for this equipment, including delivery, any import duty, insurances and all associated costs is GBP 60,000 (inclusive of VAT).NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
