Universitetet i Agder [the University of Agder] will procure a collaborative robot (cobot). The cobot will be used in connection with research projects and teaching/training where the focus is on care of people. This means that both patients, nursing staff and technicians shall use and come into contact with the cobot. It will operate in regular surroundings such as kitchens, bathrooms, lounge rooms and bedrooms. The work assignments for the cobot will solely be assignments that a normal person can do and the assignments will also help people who need nursing and care.
