Design Enterprise Skillnet invites tenders for a Professional Diploma programme in Design Management, to run in 2023 and to include potential for the provision of booster workshops or advanced modules. As design becomes an increasingly important business function, designers and those who lead design teams require a broader range of skills to translate strategy into practice, manage people & budgets while supporting a culture of creativity and dealing with multiple stakeholders. Tenders are sought for the delivery of a Design Management Professional Diploma to empower designers and design managers with the tools, processes and methodologies to successfully manage design as a key business resource. The programme will be aimed at professionals working in design management or aspiring to be an agency owner, design/creative director, design/account/studio manager or team lead. Participants' organisations will be based in the Republic of Ireland. It is anticipated that the programme will be (run across) approx 9 to 12 months and will commence in Spring 2023. The primary mode of delivery should be virtual synchronous (online live), with the potential for some face to face interaction, any future Covid or health restrictions permitting. Sample modules/topics required: Design Leadership, Design Management, Design Process, Design Language, Design Value, Service Design, Design Strategy, Design CX, Design Briefing. We welcome recommendations regarding optimum content. An assessment process and final assessment (presentation/exercise/other) should be included. Tender Assessment will be by Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT). The categories will be: - Price/value for money - 25% - Content and quality of outlined framework, understanding of requirement, experience and knowledge - 45% - Sectoral Experience and Expertise - 30%
