Summary of the work Level 4 Infrastructure Engineer required to complete ADFS 2016 migration, windows image build, configuration of SCCM for rollout, implementation and configuration of Ivanti patch for SCCM. All tasks are key to enabling completion of our Office 365 readiness assessment. Specialist role Technical Architect Expected Contract Length 6 Months Latest start date Monday 23 April 2018 Who Speclialist Work With The successful candidate will report to the Infrastructure Team Leader and will work closely with the Networking, Security, DBA and Development teams to provide services to 2000 users. What Specialists Work On Creation of Windows 10 image adhering to policing standards. Configuration of SCCM to rollout Windows 10 image; process and procedures created, then transitioned into BAU. Implementation of Ivanti patch for SCCM and fully documented handover to Infrastructure team. The ADFS service migration to Windows Server 2016 platform. Skills & Experience • SCCM implementation and configuration hands on experience • ADFS 2016 live migration experience • Ivanti Patch for SCCM implementation and configuration experience • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert : Windows Server 2012 / 2016 • Experience and knowledge of VMware ESXi • Experience and knowledge of Cloud technologies, such as Office 365 and Azure • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration of Active Directory, Group Policy in a medium to large enterprise. Nice to Haves • Experience and knowledge of backup and recovery tools, such as: Veeam, Veritas Netbackup, IBM Spectrum. • A good understanding of Proactive Monitoring, USB port blocking and Application Control software. • Experience of working in a secure environment. • ITIL Qualified • A good understanding of anti-virus and malware detection software. Work Location Police Headquarters 1 Waterwells Drive Quedgeley Gloucester GL2 2AN Working Arrangments Onsite 5 days a week 37 Hours per week. Gloucestershire Constabulary require an Infrastructure Engineer SFIA L4 who is SC vetted by Warwickshire Constabulary. 3. To clarify, you require a specialist who is already SC cleared OR you will accept a non-cleared specialist and you will put them through clearance? Please clarify if one or both of the above are acceptable Current SC vetting by Warwickshire Constabulary is required. 4. 1. Will Gloucestershire Constabulary or Warwickshire Constabulary put the successful candidate through the SC Clearance process, or will the candidate need to already hold it? 2. Is it possible to transfer Home Office or MOD SC Clearance over to the Constabulary? 1. No we require the success candidate to have already have SC clearance.2. We only accept Warwickshire SC vetting. 5. Please can you confirm whether this role will be inside or outside of IR35? Please confirm by 'Warwickshire SC Clearance' you are referring to NPPV Clearance, please also confirm level of clearance: we assume Level 3, but would like clarity. To be vetted by a Police Force, the vetting clearance level required is a non-police personnel vetting (NPPV) Level 3). 10. Can you confirm or not if there is already a specialist on site doing this role? And is this a contested requirement? No there isn’t a specialist onsite and yes it is contested.
