Dublin CIty Council seeks to award a contract for the implementation of the St Anne’s Park Community Archaeology Programme Season 3 2024. The programme, which is part-funded by the Heritage Council, aims to present Saint Anne’s Park in Dublin as a campus for practical archaeology and training and to develop a cohesive partnership between professional archaeologists and members of the general public who have a shared interest in Dublin’s past. Through this programme communities are encouraged to forge connections with the park and actively engage in the promotion and protection of the built and archaeological heritage and social history of St Anne’s Park. The successful tenderer must complete the following elements of the Community Archaeology Programme Season 3: A. A 25-day Community Excavation of part of St Anne’s house and all statutory licensing and reporting requirements and B. public engagement and project management of the schools Programme.
