Description

NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) act in an Agency capacity for and on behalf of its customers (Approved Organisations) - existing and new. These comprise of NHS and Social Care organisations (whether acting individually, or on behalf of, or together as members of any consortia) along with any other public or private sector bodies which NHS SBS authorises to use the resulting Framework. NHS Shared Business Services intends to put in place a Framework Agreement for the provision of a compliant EN14065, HTM-01-04 and HTM05-03 - Part C for Healthcare Linen and Laundry Services to be used by NHS and SBS approved organisations. Including the following specialised service Lots: Lot 1 - Linen Wash and Return Services Lot 2 - Linen Hire Lot 3 - Linen Purchase Lot 4 - Managed Service Lot 5 - Workwear Supply Our Approved Organisation list can be found on: https://sbs.nhs.uk/proc-framework-agreements-support We are committed to working with suppliers who are dedicated to Sustainability and Social Value and there will be a significant weighting on these elements in the tender. This PIN Notice is seeking expressions of interest and responses to our RFI document from interested suppliers, this will help shape our new Framework and ensure it is reflective of the best practices that exist across the supply market. Lot 1: Linen Wash & Return Services This Lot provides a compliant linen wash and return services to the NHS and other approved organisations. Approved organisations will be able to access a sustainable and flexible service solution. The new Framework, subject to review and change, is expected to go live in early 2024 Lot 2: Linen Hire This will provide a compliant linen hire service to the NHS and other approved organisations.
