The purpose of the Council’s PPME process is to allow and enable, potentially interested organisations with appropriate expertise and relevant experience to:- oOutline and generate initial views/ideas around the outcomes, scope of the brief (i.e. with no commitment to themselves or the Council). oEngage with the Council to understand its challenges, intentions and desired Outcomes. oProvide informal input to help shape and refine the Council’s technical requirements. oInform the Council of current market developments. oEnable the Council to understand how the Current Requirements could be shaped and met. oExplain potential solutions available to the Council. oFor the Industry Open Day to enable the formation of potential consortia and/or supply chains. This stage of the project allows the Council to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the options; technologies; methodologies; and/or solutions available to deliver its outcomes. Furthermore, this process enables organisations to effectively plan for any potential forthcoming procurement. The Council will consider the input and responses received as part of this PPME to help inform the Council’s options and further decision making. Lot 1: E-bike Share Provision of a self-service, on-street e-bike share service, utilising control mechanisms such as demarked bays and/or geo-fencing Lot 2: Demand Responsive Transport Provision of a cross-boundary demand responsive transport (DRT) service. Lot 3: Mobility Hubs Provision of one or all of the following services applicable to the operation of Mobility Hubs: a)Operations b)Branding & marketing c)Maintenance Lot 4: Last-Mile Delivery Solutions Provision of sustainable last-mile delivery solutions, including but not limited to the following: a)E-cargo bikes b)Delivery drones c)Parcel lockers d)Other innovative freight solutions Lot 5: Car Clubs Provision of a cross-boundary back-to-base, fully or part EV, car club solution operating across the HGGT area. Lot 6: Modal Share Monitoring & Data Solutions Provision of services relevant to HGGT and its partners monitoring travel behaviour in achieving its ambitious modal share targets, including but not limited to: a)Data collection b)Open data solutions c)Data insights Lot 7: Technical Services Provision of technical consultancy services relevant to HGGT and its partners for shared mobility.
