Who is the Scottish Procurement Alliance? The Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) is Scotland’s largest free to join, not for profit procurement solutions provider for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings. It represents 118 public sector organisations throughout Scotland, ranging from small co-operatives to regional and national housing associations, local authorities, education providers, blue light services and other public bodies. SPA have a vast portfolio of compliant frameworks that have been developed through extensive research and collaboration with public sector organisations and suppliers. The frameworks enable fully or partially publicly funded organisations to procure goods, works and services. Providing a complete collection of solutions for organisations seeking to procure construction, refurbishment, maintenance or consultancy projects. Whether it’s one of the upcoming frameworks (details below), or you just want to learn more about the application process of our public sector framework agreements then you’ll be interested in attending one of our upcoming events! If you are looking to expand your business and grow your opportunities with public sector organisations. We are hosting various sessions in May to share essential knowledge of bidding for our frameworks and to hear about our upcoming opportunities. These events are free to attend and will be beneficial for SMEs interested in exploring frameworks. ________________________________________________________ “What you need to know about upcoming SPA Frameworks” There is 1 session for “What you need to know about upcoming SPA Frameworks”. This session will provide detailed information on the scope of our upcoming frameworks, information about the criteria and there will be an opportunity to ask any important questions . This session is open to all SMEs in Scotland with an interest in exploring upcoming framework opportunities in refurbishment and maintenance, fire safety and energy efficiency. Hosted in partnership with Business Gateway, Supplier Development Programme, North Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Council Session dates/times: -23rd May - 10am to 12pm ________________________________________________________ “Understand what is involved with bidding for a SPA Framework” There are x3 dates available for “Understand what is involved with bidding for a SPA Framework” sessions. These sessions are open to all suppliers, but will be particularly useful for SME's who maybe do not have extensive experience in bidding for public sector frameworks At the sessions, we will cover: - Introductions to SPA and upcoming frameworks - Public Sector Procurement in Scotland - Routes to Market that could be utilised - An in-depth overview of an Open Procedure - An overview of documents you may see within an ITT - A look at our scoring mechanism There will also be a Q&A opportunity at the end.
