Description
The Housing Service is looking to procure a single contract for the provision of the supply of trade material commodities and associated services. The Housing Service currently has a store facility for building materials. An ongoing depot rationalisation project has provided the service with an opportunity to look at a new way to organise their stores facilities. The Council is looking to achieve a “managed stores” solution for the housing service and potentially other smaller contracts, for example in relation to our Roads and Land services. The Council would like to invite interested parties to meet with the Project Team to discuss this potential opportunity and support the development of our strategy. The purpose of this PIN is to inform the development of the strategy for this requirement and identify potential interest within the market. The project team will host an initial information session on Tuesday 21st May to allow any interested parties the opportunity to discuss this requirement with us. Further information relating to this session will be released in due course. It should be noted that the Council will only contract with a single supplier or consortiums for this opportunity. Any providers who are unable to provide the full range of trade materials and associated services should consider partnering with other organisations to meet the full specification.
