Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a Service Provider to manage, service and repair medical devices in all Trust locations. The Trust provides a wide range of Services in Mental and Community healthcare settings throughout Kent and the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, and Greenwich. The services are delivered in a wide variety of settings such as hospitals, clinics, schools, prisons and in patients’ homes. Lot 1: Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a Service Provider to manage, service and repair medical devices in all Trust locations. The Trust provides a wide range of Services in Mental and Community healthcare settings throughout Kent and the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, and Greenwich. The services are delivered in a wide variety of settings such as hospitals, clinics, schools, prisons and in patients’ homes. Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust provide services in healthcare units within His Majesty’s Prisons (HMPs) in London, Kent, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Bristol, Dorset and Devon. The site locations may be added to or removed during life of the contract due to changes to requirement for service relocation. The Service Provider will be required to have the capacity to provide the service nationally if required. The Service Provider will be responsible for providing the Service, together with other associated activities as defined in the Specification, to manage all aspects of the medical device equipment including, but not limited to, a medical devices planned preventative maintenance service; a corrective repair service; safety and electrical inspections, asset management, receipt, commissioning and labelling of assets, transportation of equipment and parts, decommissioning and disposal of equipment; risk assessment and supply of replacement/spare parts (components) necessary to rectify faults and to service the equipment. The service provision includes the maintenance, repair, and management of approximately 6000 assets. During the mobilisation period the Service Provider will be required to verify all assets and provide a complete Medical Device Database. The service applies to all specified equipment in all the Trust’s service locations including prisons and patient’s homes. The duration of the contract is for five (5) years with the option to extend for a further two (2) 12-month periods. The Service shall be provided 5 days a week, Monday to Friday within the Trust’s business hours 08:00 – 17:30 for the execution of all planned and corrective events.
