"The proposed development will transform the existing car park to provide a dual-purpose space: new features will allow the car park to host performances during events and festivals. The Project will provide a covered stage area to be used for performing artists and additional features to enhance the audience space. Improvements include architectural canopies, seating, lighting, and power points. The Project will deliver the following; A covered stage with power supply for performing artists, Benches for the audience during performances, Overhead coverings, which will allow the space to be used for dining/coffee area all year round, Upgrading the boundary wall between the car park and Abbey Street to a bench with timber finish, Regularisation of car parking provision to provide twenty-seven parking spaces, including two disabled parking spaces to current standards."
