Wales & West Utilities are seeking a new Gas Mains Replacement and Reinstatement Service for improved efficiency and productivity across 8 Regions in Wales and South West England to commence in April 2026. Suppliers are invited to participate in the pre-qualification process for short-listing a minimum of 3 and maximum of 8 Economic Operators to participate in the procurement of the GD3 Mains Replacement and Reinstatement project by Wales and West Utilities. If successful, Economic Operators will then be invited to submit a Final Tender across 8 Geographical Lots. Lot 1: North Wales Wales & West Utilities are seeking a new Gas Mains Replacement and Reinstatement Service for improved efficiency and productivity across North Wales to commence in April 2026. Proposed services to be procured across the region include, but are not limited to: 1. Tier One Mains Replacement & Associated Services 2. Consequential Steel & Associated Services 3. Stranded non-tier One Mains 4. Reinstatement - All Mains Replacement, Connections & Leakage, Reinforcement, Diversions 5. Backfill (Tier One, Consequential, Stranded) 6. Purge & Relight (Tier One, Consequential, Stranded) 7. Copper re-runs (Tier One, Consequential, Stranded) 8. Equipotential Bonding "Cross bonding" - (Tier One, Consequential, Stranded) 9. Programme Control and Enabling 10. Obtaining Planning, Permits, Street Notices 11. PPE 12. Welfare 13. Vans, fuel, plant and equipment 14.
