111/MVT Multi-Wire Submerged Arc Welding Facility

Description

The supply, installation and commissioning of a multi-wire submerged arc-welding facility to support process development of machining of key components at the NAMRC. The machine will be used for submerged arc welding of steel plates and vessels using very high deposition rates. Welding will be in both mild steel and stainless steels with vessels up to 4.5 metres in diameter and up to 5 metres long. <br />The contract has been awarded and no further expressions of interest will be accepted.
