Description
The Eastleigh Mobility Travel Hub - a Local Mobility Hub (LMH) will be a single place where a range of mobility options, services and facilities in a convenient location. The proposed Eastleigh Mobility Hub is to be located near to the bus and rail station and to be served by permeable walking and cycling routes, it aims to serve the nearby residential and areas and the town centre and make switching between modes easy, uncomplicated and straight forward. The Mobility Hub if completed, will be the first in Hampshire. Prior to starting any procurement activity, the Council is inviting organisations who have an interest in, and experience of, delivering such services to an online market engagement event to consider :- • what innovative methods of delivery could be considered • what potential providers see as areas of risk • what (if anything) would stop interested parties applying for this business opportunity, prior to a contract notice being issued and applications being invited. This is an opportunity to influence and shape the future delivery of the scheme. Engagement will consist of an online event as well as a Soft Market Questionnaire which we encourage interested organisations to complete. Information gathered, and feedback supplied, will help shape the proposed future procurement. The online engagement event is scheduled to take place at 2pm - 4pm on the 11th August 2022 The event will be hosted via Teams and requests for invite will be managed via Intend. For more information on how to request an invite and book onto this event please see below. Lot 1: This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is an indication of potential future procurement activity only. The procurement route and procedures are still to be decided and will be informed by information and feedback from interested organisations who attend the online event and/or complete the Soft Market Questionnaire. It is envisaged that the scheme will include but not be limited to: Electric Vehicle Charging, Car Hire, Car Club, e-bikes, e-bike charging, Bike share, Scooter share, Parcel Drop-off/Lockers, MaaS app, including design, installation, supply, delivery and maintenance. Additional information: For further Information please go to the Council's e-tendering website https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire. In order to receive an invite link to the online event, you must first register with In-Tend (if you have not already done so) and express an interest in the project. We recommend that you refer to the e-tendering guidance for suppliers which can be found by clicking on 'Information for Suppliers' at the top of the home page. In-Tend correspondence should be used to notify the Council of delegates' names and contact details so that an invite can be sent. If there is a particular topic you would like to hear about please send your suggestion via In-Tend correspondence and we will consider your proposal for discussion during the online event. Please use this method of communication if you have any questions about this event. A Soft Market Test Questionnaire will also be provided via the Portal shortly after the event and is to be completed no later than Friday 26th August 2022 at 5pm at which time access to the questionnaire will close. It is neither the intention, nor the purpose of this event or Soft Market Engagement Questionnaire to confer any advantage upon its participants in any future procurement process.
