Description

Waterford City and County Council are seeking a service provider for the provision of facilities management services to the common areas of it's multi unit buildings. There are currently 47no. (approx) apartment blocks under its management with a further 7 currently used to accommodate Ukrainian refugees with the possibility of additional buildings to be included over the course of the contract. All buildings are currently operated by Waterford City and County Council for the provision of social housing ranging in size from 2 apartments up to blocks of 50 apartments including lift access. The location also ranges from fully urban to suburban with common open space including car parking. The contract is initially for a period of one year, with an option to renew up to a maximum of three additional years subject to requirements, performance review and subsequent agreement with the successful Tenderer. Service requirements includes but is not limited to • cleaning services, • regular periodic visual inspections, • statutory requirements for M&E management, • provision of domestic waste services • key holding service for emergency services and utility companies and • management of common areas including external open / parking areas • provision of cleaning, waste management and statutory checks of buildings currently used to host Ukrainian refugees.
