WEEE Collection and Critical Raw Material Recovery Trials

Published

Description

This work will deliver a series of trials in UK, Germany, Italy and Turkey to demonstrate different and effective ways to collect waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) for reuse and for the recovery of critical raw materials, gold, silver and platinum group metals from it. The trials should deliver an understanding of the potential impact that different collection mechanisms have on product reuse and recovered material value in order to establish a compelling commercial and environmental case for change.
