It is the Contracting Authorities preference to enter into a contract with South Hampshire Primary Care (SHPCA) for the reasons detailed below. The proposed contract is for a period of 4 years commencing 1st June 2022 with the option to extend for a further 1+1 years periods.An EOI form needs to be submitted by the 26th May 12 noon in order to officially express an interest, please note EOI's will be open as and when received. If however, there are expressions of interest to compete to deliver the requirements received by 12:00 on 26th May 2022, it should be noted that the proposed contract contains an exit mechanism after 12 months which will be enacted in order to deliver a competition process in accordance with Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for a new contract to commence for service delivery from 1st June 2023 for a period of three years with the option to extend for a further 2 x 1 year periods. If no expressions of interest are received, the Authority intends to enter into a contract with the above-named provider/s relying upon a Regulation 32 exemption of no response/no requests to participate have been submitted in response to this notice. This new contract will be awarded for a period of 4 years with the option to extend for a further 1+1 years while integration and service development takes place within the Local Delivery System. This contracting period will commence on June 1st 2022 and also aligns the service with the Hampshire and Surrey Heath Integrated Urgent Care Service. The Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) intention is to award to Southern Hampshire Primary Care Alliance (SHPCA) the CAS between the hours of 08:00 - 22:00. This decision supports the Portsmouth system infrastructure ensuring that expertise in delivering CAS provision overnight is retained within the system and economies of scale can be realised. Partnering Health Limited (PHL) will carry out the overnight CAS, please see separate notification of this. Please note the Contract value is for the maximum total contract duration of 4 years with optional 1 +1 year extension options. Lot 1: The current proposal is to award to Southern Hampshire Primary Care Alliance (SHPCA) the IUC CAS between the hours of 08:00 - 22:00 7 days a week 365 days per year for a period of 4 years with the option for a further 1+1 years from June 1st 2022. This decision supports the development of general practice at scale, ensures integration with enhanced access, and takes the opportunity to invest in general practice sustainability today and transformation tomorrow making the service better for patients and health practitioners. This decision further supports the Portsmouth system infrastructure, ensuring that expertise in delivering CAS provision across the local delivery system is retained and economies of scale can be realised. Utilising SHPCA invests in our local workforce by supporting local GPs, which in turn supports local practices - Improves access to primary care and expands capacity, increasing the numbers of appointments available. Local providers located and hosted in the locality in which they work in hours, supports the investment in our local workforce. Aligning the contract duration with the HSH IUC service keeps future integration possible. It also allows future procurements to be conducted together providing greater flexibility in service provision and options for the system. Click on the "View Details" button for relevant opportunity to access the content, clicking "Express an Interest" where required to do so. 9. Click the relevant procurement as required then click the "Opt-In" at the bottom of the page to start building your submission to the procurement stage. This will move the project over to your "My Tenders" page. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only). 10. Note the deadline for completion and follow the on screen instructions to complete the EOI, accessing any attached documents as required. 11. Any questions on specific opportunities should be directed through the portal messaging facility. You must formally respond and upload the EOI form in order to express an interest by the closing date of 12 noon on 26th May 2022.
