Additional Water Process Development

Published

Description

United Utilities have been requested to supply an additional 357.4l/s from their Raw Water feed from the River Dee. Hence, we are looking for any new Raw water connections to cover this request. The additional Raw Water demand is to feed 2 separate process developments in the local area. The first connection will require a maximum flow of 200l/s to the inlet of a tank which will be required to be continuously refilled. The second connection will require a maximum flow of 157.4l/s to the inlet of a tank, and will also require a continuous refill. Lot 1: United Utilities have been requested to supply an additional 357.4l/s from their Raw Water feed from the River Dee. Hence, we are looking for any new Raw water connections to cover this request. The additional Raw Water demand is to feed 2 separate process developments in the local area. The second connection will require a maximum flow of 157.4l/s to the inlet of a tank, and will also require a continuous refill. Further to this, the detail of the water requirement is, listed with geographical location of where the water requirement is located. • Ellesmere Port. For this, water usage will be required by the 1.1.2026. • Ellesmere Port. This is a phased development with the initial 100 l/s allocated to Phase 2. This has an outline programme of 5 years for full occupation and it is anticipated that 75% of the plots will occupied by year 3 (2025). By simple pro rata the development would require 75 l/s by 2025 and 100 l/s by 2027. Phase 3 requires an additional 100 l/s. Initial occupation unlikely until after 2027 and then probably a further 5 years from then to full occupation. Additional information: 1. If you cannot fulfil the full % of demand requested, could you please provide the % of demand that you can fulfil? 2. If supply is via alternative does that mean a new pipe or is the water still fed into the UU network which developers then draw demand off? 3. What would be the process for securing capacity with an alternative supplier?
