Published
Description
The University of Strathclyde is seeking to appoint a single supplier to support the Alumni and Development Office to develop fundraising telethon campaign activities from initial pre-campaign set-up, through to post campaign demobilisation and performance reporting. Lot 1: The Alumni and Development Office’s capacity to generate income for the University depends on the department’s ability to connect with University Alumni and secure philanthropic donations. The University is seeking to appoint a single supplier to support the ADO to develop fundraising telethon campaign activities from initial pre-campaign set-up, through to post campaign demobilisation and performance reporting. In addition, the supplier will support the ADO to manage the telethon campaign by recruiting, training and supervising students appointed to call and engage with the University’s network of Alumni. A consultation between ADO and UOS Procurement identified the services the successful Supplier should deliver: Objectives -Establish and manage a successful telethon campaign that generates fundraised income in support of the Alumni Fund. -Build positive relationships with alumni and increase their affinity to Strathclyde. -Ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered when engaging with Alumni. -Inform Alumni network of opportunities to connect and increase engagement with the University. -Strengthen the University’s reputation amongst the Alumni network through positive engagement with the telethon campaign student callers. Requirements -Support student caller recruitment for the Telethon campaign: The successful supplier will work with the Alumni Fund officer to develop a recruitment application form to capture student caller information. Upon retrieval of student application forms, the supplier will shortlist candidates and undertake telephone interviews with candidates. The supplier will then progress successful telephone interview candidates to a face to face interviews with the Alumni and Development Office. -Provision of student Telethon campaign training: Prior to the live phase of the campaign, the supplier will be responsible for training student callers to use the supplier’s software, effectively engage with University Alumni, promote the University’s activities and obtain philanthropic donations, while maintaining a high standard of customer service. The supplier will provide initial training for the entire student caller cohort and group or one-to one training support as and when required. The supplier will also provide appropriate ongoing training and development support to student callers throughout the live phase of the Telethon campaign. This will ensure student callers can effectively communicate with members of the University’s Alumni network to promote the University and secure funding donations. -Delivery of a full managed telethon fundraising service: The successful supplier is required to commit to providing a fully managed service that can adapt to changing circumstances regarding impacts from UK Government Covid pandemic guidelines. This service will include but not be limited to; - Support the development of the initial telethon campaign project plan, - The provision of a call room supervisor, - Data analysis and performance reporting throughout the duration of the telethon campaign. Key dates for reporting analysis and performance to the ADO will be confirmed during the contract kick-off meeting with the ADO. - Safe and secure telethon fundraising software which will have the capability to monitor performance and communicate with students during live calls with Alumni, - Back end software support for the duration of the contract, - Processing and administration of gifts from Alumni. -Management of the University’s pool of Alumni: It is the responsibility of the supplier to analyse and manage the University’s telethon pool of approximately 8,000 – 10,000 Alumni across the UK and North America. The supplier will be required to categorise the Alumni pool, prioritise Alumni for student callers to contact and supervise students engaging with Alumni..
