V2C are seeking a customer self-service solution that will allow their customers to interact with them digitally 24/7/365 using internet enabled devices such as smartphones, tablets or more traditional desktop PCs. We are seeking a solution to provide V2C customers with a self-service facility accessible from an internet enabled device such as a smartphone, tablet or computer. The solution should be of sufficient quality, ease of use and dependability, that V2C customers seek to use it as their contact channel of choice. The solution will need to be responsive to varying device types, and should not require the user to install any other tools (aside from the device’s own OS) to enable use. The solution will need to include a number of features, such as a secure log in, access to rent transactions, update personal contact information and a tool to enable users to report and schedule repairs. Other features will be added in subsequent phases, and the solution needs to be sufficiently scaleable to allow this. However, the ability to upload and download data or files (of varying types) will be necessary for future developments. Specific functionality will be designed as the business needs dictate. The solution must be able to read and write selected data to and from V2C’s MS Dynamics CRM system and Total Repairs systems. The solution must of course support all current regulation, and known future regulation — such as GDPR. The solution must be sufficiently flexible to allow regulatory changes to be incorporated. V2C wish to be able to manage some aspects of the solution independently of the successful supplier. Management information provision will be necessary, or use of proprietary analytical tools may be suitable. V2C are seeking to implement the first phase functionality during FY 2018-19.
