Given the size and demography of Mandeville Surgery registered list, the services were determined to be healthcare services falling within Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("the Regulations") which are not subject to the full regime of the Regulations, but instead governed by the "Light Touch Regime" contained within Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Regulations (Regulations 74 to 77). Procurement was therefore issued in accordance with the “Light Touch Regime”. Through this process Primary Care Management Solutions Ltd were identified as the most economically advantageous tender. The contract period will be an initial 5 years with option to extend for any period (or periods) up to a further 3 years. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central & West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
