Hertfordshire County Council is currently out to procurement for the Provision of a Contract for the Operation of Waste Transfer Stations and Associated Haulage Further information in regards to this opportunity can be found in II.2.4 and VI.3 below. Lot 1: Hertfordshire County Council is currently out to procurement of a Contract for the Operation of Waste Transfer Stations and Associated HaulageThe Council is a Waste Disposal Authority with six long term contracts for disposal of approved waste at disposal facilities outside of Hertfordshire. Details of the disposal facilities can be found in the Specification. As all disposal facilities are outside of the administrative area there is a requirement to bulk transfer the waste at transfer stations prior to the onwards transportation to the disposal facilities. Please refer to the tender documents for full details.This procurement is an open process. For example the ability for staff to move between facilities should tonnages received at each facility change significantly.
