Description

The provision of the supply of crime scene security and specialist cleaning services will be reviewed in the context of the police operations that they support to enable a reliable service aligned to business need and have the ability to react rapidly and respond to all call outs and emergency call out/incident responses on a 24/7/365 basis within the OSG Operational Area. The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) (Authority) requires a reliable, capable, and safe delivery team providing. Provision of the following services: (a) operational support deliverables across the OSG Operational Area for crime scene security and specialist cleaning; (b) void management and security of vacant MPS buildings either awaiting handback to Landlord at lease end or to be marketed and sold. The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) (Authority) requires a reliable, capable, and safe delivery team providing Provision of the following services: (a) operational support deliverables across the OSG Operational Area for crime scene security and specialist cleaning; (b) void management and security of vacant MPS buildings either awaiting handback to Landlord at lease end or to be marketed and sold. The supplier shall: • ensure that suitably trained and competent personnel are assigned to undertake these works within this specialist environment; • avoid potential disruption to the Authority’s business through the minimisation of failures associated with the special event services; • minimise any potential hazards and risks to persons; • ensure that the Authority complies with all legislation, regulations and contractual obligations; • respond to critical needs, such as surge events, these include but are not limited to protracted searches and unexpected major disaster’s that could continue over an extended period of time e.g. rail disasters, major public disorders, act of terrorism, air accidents, sieges etc.; • provide a co-ordinated approach to service delivery.
