Description

The Landmark Trust is seeking to procure specialist conservation quantity surveying services in relation to Mavisbank, Midlothian (the Project). The Trust is seeking a quantity surveyor with significant experience of conservation projects to provide a full suite of cost management services for the rescue of Mavisbank House and oversee a QS embedded within the design and civil engineering team for the delivery of a new access route. Lot 1: The Trust wishes to procure an experienced conservation quantity surveyor for the duration of phase one of the project (rescue). The services contract will be split into two packages: - Package A: RIBA 2-3: Providing a full suite of cost management services for Phase 1 proposals for Mavisbank House plus overseeing and reviewing cost management services being prepared by a QS embedded within the team designing the new access drive. - Package B: RIBA Stages 4-7: If the land acquisition strategy is successful and planning permission is granted the Project will progress to the completion of RIBA 4-7 and the delivery of the works. If this milestone is passed the contract will be extended to provide a full suite of cost management services for Phase 1 proposals for Mavisbank House from RIBA 4-7 and overseeing and reviewing cost management services being prepared by a QS embedded within the team designing the new access drive from RIBA 4-7..
