ESBT owns and operates circa 330 tower sites countrywide. Each tower is to be maintained on an 18 month rotating schedule throughout the term of the contract. The country is divided into 9 zones with approximately equal quantities of towers contained within each zone. This is subject to change as new sites are built and added to the rotation. The highest scoring three Applicants, following the tendering process, will be admitted to the Framework Agreement. It is proposed that the Contract will include: Certify existing fall arrest as per manufacturers guidelines. Insert Fall Arrest System certification date and scaff tag on ladder at base. Carry out torque test on the towers bolts to tower suppliers guidelines Check all operator equipment is secure and adequately installed to suitable standard. Collect all required operator data on the tower as per ESBT checklist and ensure each piece of equipment is labelled and photographed. Inspect all aspects of the tower as per ESBT climbdown checklist (supplied). Climbing ladder checklist to be completed for the replacement to Latchway system. Towers dimensions including wooded pole check. Carry out weep hole test. Repair minor damage appropriately i.e superficial rust, lubricate fixtures etc. Aircraft Warning Light check. Electromagnetic Field Test. Weep hole test. Fall Arrest System certification cert. Test resistance (earth check) and continuity on Lightning protection system. Tower torque check. Climbdown report on customer equipment. Update extranet with customer equipment details. Project management and Health and safety. Confirm that existing risk assessments are correct.
