SCC - Remedial Works to the Existing Concrete Prince George Extension on Southend-on-Sea Pier
Published
Description
Southend-on-Sea City Council are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to carry out structural repairs and the installation of a suitable method of corrosion protection to extend the life of both the existing, undamaged, and repaired sections of the Prince George extension at the sea end of the Pier. The works will consist of breaking out all loose and damaged concrete to expose corroded reinforcement, the replacement of the corroded reinforcement and the repair of the concrete. The works will be carried out under a NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract Option A with Client amendments over a period of approximately 2 years. The procurement process will be conducted electronically via the Council's e-tender facility Pro-Contract: https://procontract.due-north.com. All clarifications and responses must be submitted via the e-tendering portal. The tender documents are only available from the Pro-Contract site and are free of charge.
