Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Authority ("the Authority") has a potential requirement for a Virtual Receptionist System for the purposes of automating general reception functions for the receipt of Visitors and Contractors, (pre-appointed and ad-hoc) to our premises whilst maintaining site and building security via its existing Paxton NET2 access systems. It is proposed that Service staff may also utilise the system for attendance and time logging purposes. With the above in mind, the Authority is seeking information from the market in order to qualify our requirements and assess the level of interest within the market and would like to invite suitable qualified Suppliers to express an interest in participating in our market engagement. Suppliers wishing to participate in the market engagement will be provided with a copy of our initial Requirements Specification document and Market Engagement Questionnaire for their review and completion. Following submission, there may be a follow-up session with members of the Project Team. This exercise is classified as pre-market engagement and a further procurement process will be used to identify the supplier that best meets our needs.
