Repair and maintenance services of building installations

The scope of works will include a Responsive Repairs and Voids Maintenance Service for the first contract, and Planned Maintenance Works for the second contract. The Planned Maintenance Contract will predominantly incorporate kitchen and bathroom works, as well as windows and doors. It will therefore be divided into lots. The Responsive Repairs and Voids contract will not be divided into lots. The estimated total value for the Repairs and Voids Contract is 35 000 000 GBP, while the estimated total value for the Planned Maintenance Contract is 12 600 000 GBP, for maximum 10 year contracts. The full scope of works, contract periods, delivery methodologies and therefore overall values for both contracts, are not fully concluded at this time and will be subject to further reviews. Further information will be provided at a proposed ‘Meet the Buyer’ session (soft market test event), the details of which are provided within this Prior Information Notice. This notice is not an invitation for formal expressions of interest to participate in the procurement process. Waverley Borough Council is issuing this Prior Information Notice to notify organisations of a forthcoming soft market testing exercise, which will take place in the form of a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event. This event will provide further details of the proposed contracts and seek relevant feedback from attendees. Organisations that would like to attend the event are to email Waverley Borough Council's Procurement Consultant, Faithorn Farrell Timms LLP, via procurement@effefftee.co.uk, referencing WBC-RV for Repairs and/or WBC-PM for Planned. Closing date is Friday 9.6.2017. The event will incorporate two sessions, and will be included within two PIN notices. Further details are provided within the Additional Information element.
