P1293 - Capacity building support for Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Economy organisations (VCFSEs) in Aston and Newtown, funded by UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) Community and Place Pillar Birmingham City Council invited a quotation for Capacity Building support for Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Economy organisations (VCFSEs) in Aston and Newtown Wards, no later than 12:00pm, on 21st October 2024. The Council requires a supplier for the provision of capacity building support for voluntary, community, faith and social economy organisations (VCFSE) in Aston and Newtown Wards of the city. This capacity building programme will be funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) which aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK, investing in communities and place, and supporting local businesses, people and skills. The successful supplier will be required to design and deliver a programme of capacity building support for VCFSE organisations in collaboration with Birmingham City Council's Community Support & Development Officers (CSDO) with UKSPF Aston and Newtown responsibility. The outcome of the programme is to boost the effectiveness, sustainability and confidence of Birmingham based VCFSE's, empowering them to take a leading role in their development, meet their objectives and address their community's needs. The contract is for a maximum of £40,000 and potential suppliers will be required to design a delivery programme that is costed within this budget. The contract will be for a period commencing November 2024 until 31st March 2025. The Invitation to Quotation is being issued using the Council's e-tendering system In-tend and the remainder of the procurement process will be managed using the system.
