13418 - Demolition & Associated Works at Minerva Centre Thornthwaite Close, Rednal Birmingham B45 0DS Acivico Building Consultancy Ltd on behalf of Birmingham City Council invites tenders for the Demolition & Associated Works at Minerva Centre Thornthwaite Close, Rednal Birmingham B45 0DS The Contract will be for a duration of 8 weeks (unless terminated under the terms and conditions of contract). The contract will be awarded to a single supplier. The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. You will then be sent details on how to log on which will enable you to download all relevant tender documentation. If you are unable to register with In-tend or have any questions or problems on how to use this web site please either email us at: cps@birmingham.gov.uk. Requests to participate must be by way of completion and return of the tender documentation no later than 12.00 noon on Friday 17 January 2025 using the Supplier Portal. Site Visits: It is recommended that potential suppliers may wish to undertake a site visit to ascertain the existing conditions that could affect the demolition process. It is however a recommendation not a condition of the tender, therefore and if a potential supplier wishes to visit the site then they should read the following information and act on it accordingly. Open day will take place on Friday 10 January 2025 between the hours of 10:00am to 12:00am. Contractors who wish to view the site must register their intentions by the correspondence function on the Council's Intend Portal. A time slot will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis and the potential supplier's representatives must not arrive before their pre-selected time allocation. THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER OPPORTUNITY TO INTERNALLY INSPECT THE SITE. Full PPE, including glasses and site gloves, must be worn by the tenderer.
