WP12.2.3 HS2 Accommodation Blocks, LEER, Cores and Columns Cladding Envelope Scope of work WP12.2.3 HS2 Accommodation Blocks, LEER, Cores and Columns Cladding Envelope consists of the design for construction and manufacture, supply, installation, and assurance of external cladding, overclad doors and all architectural metalwork to the accommodation blocks, Lift & Escalator Electrical Rooms (LEER) to the HS2 platforms and central core at concourse level. The scope of the package includes the following key elements: External cladding (glass wall lining system incorporating opaque fixed glazed units); Stainless-steel lining, flashing and skirting; Stainless steel louvered screen; Overclad doors; Walkway grille; Platform columns stainless-steel recess cover system. Key deliverables will be: Design Development: Prepare the design for construction and manufacture, including detailed plans, elevations, general arrangements, and fabrication drawings. These drawings should encompass all necessary interface and connection details, structural elements, ancillary elements, and products to meet the prescribed performance requirements. Samples and Prototypes: Provide samples, prototypes, visual mock-ups, and benchmarks as deemed necessary to ensure compliance with specifications. Material Supply and Installation: Supply all required materials, labour, supervision, plant, and equipment for construction in accordance with the approved design. Assurance and Certification: Generate and supply comprehensive assurance documentation. Coordination: Ensure coordination of cladding systems with the various interfacing parties. About the buyer's selection process: Respondents to this opportunity should be advised that shortlisted applicants will be invited to tender through an external ERP system. The exact scoring criteria are currently being developed by BBVS, and shortlisted suppliers will be invited to register for the ERP system in due course. What is clear at this stage is that tenders will be scored competitively across a range of criteria, such as, but not limited to: HSEQ, Commercial, Programme, Methodology (particularly with working in a track environment).
