Description
Stockport Homes' Furnished Tenancy Scheme was formed in 2000, providing packages of furniture, white goods, carpet / floor coverings to tenants who do not have them nor the means to purchase the same. Since it's formation the service has grown and delivers an array of packages to a wide range of households. FTS are seeking a suitable supplier who can supply and install a variety of 'Domestic' floor coverings, including underlay (where necessary) and associated fixtures e.g. door plates / gripper tracks. There may also be a requirement to re-hang / adjust internal doors following flooring install. Furthermore, to facilitate installation the successful supplier will on occasion need to move furniture. The successful supplier will be required to provide a quick turnaround, being able to accommodate both scheduled / unscheduled and out of hours (in exceptional circumstances) supply and installation service to tenanted homes throughout Stockport. The initial contract term will be for 36 months with an option to extend for a further 12 months for a potential total contract term of four (4) years.
