P1261 - Framework Agreement for the Provision of Security for Events

The Council wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for the benefit of the different directorates and service areas across the Council. This Framework Agreement will be managed by the Council and Call Off contracts will be managed by various Council Representatives on a call off by call off basis. The duration of the Framework Agreement is four (4) years. Birmingham City Council produces and manages events in-house and in partnership with others. The successful Providers will work directly with members of the Events team, City Operations Team & /or City Readiness team for planning and operations. The purpose of the Framework is to appoint up to three (3) Providers who shall be responsible for the provision of event security solutions. Orders will be placed in line with the Award Procedure in the Framework Agreement. The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. The Contract is intending to commence the contract on 1 January 2025 or as otherwise agreed between the parties. Form of Contract is the Council's standard Framework Agreement Terms and Conditions. The respective Call Off Contracts awarded under this Framework Agreement will be based on these standard Framework Agreement Terms and Conditions.
