MBC Customer Service Supplier Engagement

Maidstone Borough Council are reviewing how we deliver our front line customer service and we would like to understand what potential contractors would be interested in, and able to, deliver the service on our behalf. We are seeking information regarding the potential benefits that we may be able to achieve from outsourcing, and an estimate of the cost associated with this, to ensure that we have fully explored this as a future option. This is a supplier engagement process to seek information and assess interest in this potential opportunity from the market. All submissions must be made via the 'Messaging' section of the Kent Business Portal. Submissions must be received by 5pm on 21st December 2023. The information will then be considered by the council and key stakeholders. At the conclusion of the engagement process, the Council will determine the most appropriate route forward, but makes no guarantee of any future tender or contract award for this service. Participation in this supplier engagement process does not grant any advantage in any future tender process, nor does it guarantee acceptance of any future tender you may submit.
