Published

Description

TfL wishes to engage with the tram manufacturer and tram refurbishment market via a Market Sounding Questionnaire on different aspects relating to the potential procurement of a new fleet and prospective support arrangements or potential life extension for Tramtrack Croydon Limited. TfL is conducting feasibility work to inform its procurement strategy with a view to replacing or life extending up to 24 trams. For the purpose of this exercise, only rolling stock manufacturers or tram refurbishment providers who are capable of delivering a complete tram rolling stock solution and/or turnkey solution for life extension in its entirety should respond to this notice. Respondents to this notice will receive a Market Sounding Questionnaire (MSQ) for completion. This is a pre-procurement activity and does not imply any commitment to any future procurement process at this time. The purpose is to provide TfL with information on what is available and being developed in the marketplace. Participation in this MSQ is not a prerequisite to, and will not prejudice, participation in any future competitive process Lot 1: TfL wishes to engage with the tram manufacturer and tram refurbishment market via a Market Sounding Questionnaire on different aspects relating to the potential procurement of a new fleet and prospective support arrangements or potential life extension for Tramtrack Croydon Limited.
