Northern has 10 class 158/9s that based on the time between overhaul (8 years) need to go through a C6 overhaul line with Northern's & Eversholt specification document "EV/VI1586 Issue 3". The requirement is that each of the 10 units has been through the C6 overhaul programme before the current C6 expires as per the below dates; Unit No Exam Due Date U158910 C6 03/09/2024 U158907 C6 23/09/2024 U158906 C6 14/10/2024 U158901 C6 04/11/2024 U158905 C6 25/11/2024 U158902 C6 16/12/2024 U158903 C6 20/01/2025 U158909 C6 03/02/2025 U158904 C6 02/03/2025 U158908 C6 29/03/2025 The C6 will focus on; AIR SYSTEM (Excluding brake equipment)/ BRAKES - AIR/VACUUM/ BODYWORK (Excluding interior trim)/ BATTERY/CONTROL SYSTEMS/ FLOORING/ HEATING/AIR CONDITIONING/ INTERIOR TRIM /FITTINGS/ FUEL SYSTEMS/ DOORS/ UNDERFRAME/ VEHICLE ACTIVITIES/ WATER & TOILET SYSTEMS (excluding Catering). A detailed copy of the specification will be provided when the ITT is issued. Lot 1: NTL has chosen to run the procurement under the negotiated procedure with a prior call for competition under regulation 47 of the UCR. NTL is registered with the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS), enabling it to use this as a qualification system. To participate in this procurement, suppliers must be fully registered and qualified on RISQS under the following RICCL code and activities by 15th January 2024 17:00:- 1. RICCL code: E.E.1: Diesel Multiple Units/ Overhaul Registration on RISQS must be done through the RISQS system, this can be done online at: https://shop.risqs.org/Register After the 15th January potential bidders that meet the RISQs criteria will be invited to undertake in the procurement activity. For suppliers to engage in this stage they will need to register on NTL's E-Sourcing system Delta (The registration link is; https://www.delta-esourcing.com/). For clarity the following steps will not be uploaded into Delta until procurement activity is ready to be launched. Stage 1 of the procurement is a Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ). The PQQ will be assessed and after this suppliers will be shortlisted. Stage 2 - Shortlisted suppliers shall then be invited to participate in the ITN taking part over round(s) of negotiations before submitting a Best and Final Offer (BaFO).
