In detail, the scope involves management, supervision, manpower and materials as dictated by the requirements of the project. In context, the scope of work will comprise the repair of existing parts or the supply of new parts. The project scope includes (refer appendix - 1 for further break down of components): 1. Provision of resources and materials in the repair of LT-130, LT-115 Field, Armature, LT 200 and LT 118 systems. 2. Supply of field and armature systems of the 3HC43 compressor motor. 3. Supply of field and armature systems of the HRS-20 compressor motor. 4. Supply coil systems and associated parts for motor alternator sets, type MG3007. 5. Supply of field and armature systems of the VRS20 compressor motor. 6. Logistics arrangement involving transportation to and from the customers assigned collection drop off point. Note: The estimated value would be based on yearly forecast for next 8 contractual years. Lot 1: Traction Motors This PIN is issued by the Transport for London (TfL) to help develop the best route to market regarding the procurement of services related to Repair of Rotating Machines and the performance of related service. The primary focus of this PIN is to better understand the capacity and capability of the market, potential delivery models, as well as perceived risks and opportunities and to identify expert competencies in Rewinds and other related services for Rotating Machines for TfL. Further more, the scope involves repairs of LT-130, LT-115, LT 200 and LT 118 Field and Armature systems based on the forecast quantity for the next 8 contractual years. Lot 2: Repair of motor alternators & Compressor Units This PIN is issued by the Transport for London (TfL) to help develop the best route to market regarding the procurement of services related to Repair of Rotating Machines and the performance of related service. The primary focus of this PIN is to better understand the capacity and capability of the market, potential delivery models, as well as perceived risks and opportunities and to identify expert competencies in Rewinds and other related services for Rotating Machines for TfL.
