The BBC requires a Data Catalogue. This requirement sits with BBC Product Group and specifically the Data Governance team. Product Group's vision is to 'create the world's first digital media organisation with public service at its heart' and Data Governance support this with their vision for 'trusted data to support a data informed BBC.' The Data Governance team has a pan BBC remit. The Data Catalogue tool will enable the BBC to meet their objective of 'connected, discoverable and governed data.' The Data Governance team will have primary responsibility for implementing and maintaining the tool. Lot 1: The BBC requires a Data Catalogue. This requirement sits with BBC Product Group and specifically the Data Governance team. The estimated contract value is £1.2m over the initial 5 year contract term, including the optional 24 month extension period.
