The BBC’s internet network carries all the BBC's audience facing traffic and CDN origin traffic. Additionally, it provides transit for the corporate network. The availability of this network and services delivered across it are crucial in maintaining the BBC’s online presence for critical services such as www.bbc.co.uk and BBC iPlayer. The current contract will end in 2025, the BBC is now seeking a Cloud based monitoring and mitigation Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) service to protect the availability of all BBC online assets with minimal degradation of service. PLEASE NOTE - this is a market soundings exercise and will not be used to prequalify or evaluate any potential suppliers.
