Description
NHS West Hampshire CCG, as host for continuing healthcare for: — NHS West Hampshire CCG, — NHS Fareham and Gosport CCG, — North Hampshire CCG, — North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG and South Eastern Hampshire CCG, will be implementing a nursing home open framework for continuing healthcare eligible clients. The CCG will in future be brokering all CHC placements for older persons with physical disabilities and/or mental health needs via this open framework (with the exception of highly complex placements), thus eliminating spot purchasing. This means that if as a Nursing Home provider to the above CCGs you are not registered on the open framework, you are unlikely to be awarded any continuing healthcare packages of care in future. Therefore, the CCG would encourage all nursing homes to participate and join the framework. The framework will be underpinned by robust contractual agreements, clearly specifying service and quality requirements, whilst providing a framework for fair and equitable pricing. The above mentioned CCG’s geographies will be divided into geographical lots number of lots to be determined in the official advert; all nursing homes on the framework will have visibility of all appropriate referrals within their lot. Placements will be made taking into account patient/family choice and economic advantage. The CCG will be undertaking a simple tender process to implement the framework. Providers will need to register on the In-Tend portal (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/soepscommissioning) to access the documents and submit a response in order to be part of the framework. The advert and documentation with full details will be posted around the week commencing the 11.2.2019 and not before. As the documentation is not available immediately I urge you to register on the In-ted portal and monitor future opportunities If you have any questions in relation to this opportunity please call Celine Machola at SOEPS on 01489 779175.
