Provision of Training Services for Social Services Practitioners

In line with national and local priorities, Caerphilly County Borough Council (the “Council”) along with the other 4 local authorities in Gwent, are committed to implementation of the National Safeguarding Training, Learning and Development Standards. Implementation of the new standards will help support appropriate standards of practice for safeguarding children and adults at risk of harm, abuse and neglect.The need for generic Group C Safeguarding Children and Adult training at the earliest opportunity, for qualified and relevant non-qualified social services staff has been identified, in order to support implementation of the new standards amongst this key staff cohort.The Council is looking to establish a framework of providers to deliver Group C Safeguarding training to social services practitioners within the Gwent Region.Full details can be found in the ITTNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=145137.
