Two Year Contract for Kitchen Replacements and associated works

The Contract primarily involves the replacement and installation of new kitchens including wall finishes, new light fittings, ring main replacements, periodic electrical inspections and testing, mains isolators and new extract fans throughout Cardonald and Pollokshields, Glasgow. The Contract will be undertaken over two phases of work. Subject to successful completion of the two-year programme of surveys and works, the Contract may be extended by a maximum period of three further years through 1 + 1 +1 twelve-month extensions from the completion date. The kitchen replacement works are anticipated to involve; Year One (2024-2025 investment programme) – approximately 125nr kitchens including approximately 20nr void properties located in Cardonald of Pollokshields; and Year Two (2025-2026 investment programme) – approximately 125nr kitchens including approximately 20nr void properties located in Cardonald of Pollokshields. Lot 1: Single stage tendering and all bidders may submit a tender. Bidders are also advised that Southside Housing Association will hold a Meet the Buyer/Site Visit Event during the tender period. The Event will be free of charge and shall provide a site visit to a sample property of each existing kitchen installation type included in the tender documentation to illustrate Southside Housing Association’s requirements contained within the tender documentation. The Meet the Buyer/Site Visit Event will be attended A.D.A Construction Consultants and the person from Southside Housing Association that is currently responsible for the management of the Kitchen Replacement Contract. The Meet the Buyer/Site Visit Event will commence at 10am BST on Monday 8th July 2024 and cover properties within Chirnside Place and Hartlaw Crescent with the visit lasting between 1-2 hours. To record your interest in the Meet the Buyer/Site Visit Event, please email the names of your organisations delegates to alan.shanks@ada-cc.co.uk not later than 12noon BST on Thursday 4th July 2024. Bidders are asked to keep the maximum number of persons that will attend the Event on behalf of their organisation to two delegates.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016. SPD Question 2D.1.2- Bidders must provide a separate SPD response (Sections A and B of this Part and Part III) for each subcontractor
