Description

The proposed scheme comprises of the design and construction of a new river wall behind the existing timber river wall that has degraded beyond reasonable repair at Centurion Park, Bitterne Road West, Southampton, SO18 1UB. The works include but are not limited to: removal of an element of existing river wall, installation of new in bound sheet piling, excavation and disposal of material, installation of rock revetment, installation of new reinforced concrete wall and slab, new 1.5m boardwalk surface, diversion of services and drainage, removal and installation of trees and all ecological, Arboricultural and archaeology works as required along the circa 400m of river wall and as described within the tender documents and appendices.
