Roskilde Kommune skifter årligt energitunge hvidevarer ud igennem en grøn energipulje. Energipuljen hjælper enheder i Kommunen, som har nogle af de allermest energitunge hvidevarer med at få energieffektive hvidevarer. Hvidevarerne skal kunne opnå tilstrækkeligt besparelse til, at de er tilbagebetalt over maksimum 10 år.
