Description

The Works generally comprise the adaptation works including design to approximately 115 properties to provide ramps and bathrooms to dwellings for people with disabilities which includes approximately 70 Level Access Showers, 25 ramps and other internal and external adaptation works to housing stock owned by Cannock Chase District Council and located within the district. Lot 1: The Works generally comprise of the adaptation works including design to approximately 115 per year (12 months) properties to provide ramps and bathrooms to dwellings for people with disabilities which includes approximately (Per 12 months) 70 Level Access Showers, 25 ramps and other internal and external adaptation works as detailed in Annex D. The Employer may add additional items of works during the contract period; therefore, the Contractor should take this into account when preparing their tender submission as preliminaries costs are to be fixed for the contract period. The contract has a total value of approximately £2.240 Million for the period up to 31st March 2026 with an option to extend a further 3 years on a 1+1+1 year basis subject to the Contract Supervisor / Administrators approval which will be based on performance. All site personnel shall hold a minimum CSCS safety accreditation and CCDO certificate where appropriate. Proof of this must be evidenced during the mobilisation period. The Client reserves the right to carry out spot checks to confirm compliance.
