Merseytravel are looking to appoint a provider for merchant acquiring services over the next 3 years with the option to extend on a rolling 1 year contract for up to a maximum of 2 years. Merseytravel require Customer Present solutions including all hardware, software and interfaces on 3 year contract with the option to extend on a rolling 1 year contract for up to a maximum of 2 years. The hardware provided must be of a suitable quality to operate within the environment in which it will be used e.g. ruggedized portable solutions, wired, wireless and mobile connectivity. Merseytravel require Customer Not Present solutions including all hardware, software and interfaces on a 3 year contract with the option to extend on a rolling 1 year contract for up to a maximum of 2 years. A support and maintenance agreement is required for all of the above for the duration of the contract to support our 24/7 operations in the best possible way. This service should provide prompt responses to faults, including suitable replacements with minimal disruption to service. For the duration of the contract, Merseytravel require all solutions to remain fully compliant with all legislation and any applicable legislative changes. The services provided must be flexible to allow for equipment to be upgraded / replaced at minimal cost and disruption to Merseytravel in response to damage, changes in legislation, requirements or technological advances. All solutions must provide the fastest possible transaction time for the customer and a speedy settlement for back office reconciliation. Merseytravel are seeking to benefit from business efficiencies providing the most cost effective service, taking advantage of economies of scale and incorporating industry innovations where appropriate. There is potential to split the implementation of the above services into phases: Customer Present merchant acquiring services — must be fully operational by 15.1.2016. Customer Present solution including all associated hardware, software and 3rd party interfaces — must be fully operational by 15.1.2016. Customer Not Present merchant services and all associated hardware, software and 3rd party interfaces — must be fully operational by 31.3.2016.
