Description
Provision of intermediate care beds in the West Norfolk locality Lot 1: Provision of intermediate care beds in the West Norfolk locality to be used to facilitate hospital discharge (step-down) and to support admission avoidance (step up). The full service specification is for a minimum of 30 beds.<br/><br/>Key Criteria:<br/>1. The provider organisation has the required capability (experience, expertise etc.) and space/premises to deliver the required service in line with the specification.<br/><br/>2. The provider can fulfill the full requirements of the service specification within the financial envelope of the contract.<br/><br/>3. The provider is committed to working with partners in the local health system e.g. QEH, Home First Hub, Virtual Ward etc. to support discharge and enhance patient care.<br/><br/>4. The provider has employment procedures and policies in line with NHS requirements, providing fair terms and conditions which support equality or opportunity within the workforce and supports a diverse workforce.<br/><br/>5. The geographical location of the provider premises is within the area defined within the service specification (within 3 miles of QEH).<br/><br/>The Trust has explored options available and intends to award a contract under the most suitable provider process.<br/><br/>The initial contract will be for 30 months from 01/10/2024 - to 31/03/2027.
